What is GraphQL federation?

Hi there. I've been hearing a lot about GraphQL, but I'm hoping someone can help me out by giving me a bit of information. I'd like to know what GraphQL federation is and how it works. Any assistance would be appreciated.

GraphQL federation is certainly awesome for developers. GraphQL can help you bring services into a single API endpoint. Hence, GraphQL federation would allow having a single API that would fetch all your APIs into one point.
