Can historical data from project KM help to anticipate future risk?
Asked 3 years ago
My project manager has suggested that there needs to be some improvement in their team as it has become a task to find information on past projects on a timely basis. Would implementing knowledge management assist in anticipating future risk and dealing with uncertainties and improving the level of project management?

Yes, historical data from project KM can help you anticipate potential future risks. Project KM is a collection of information about the project, including its history, current status, and any changes that may have occurred. Collecting this kind of data can assist you in predicting how changes will affect your project, which should help you decide on the next step. It is an active example of how risk assessment works.
