Does running an unindexed search bring results similar or better to an indexed search?

I recently launched my enterprise search tool for my company. I have remote servers in various locations that hold client data. I have yet to have the chance to create indexes on the servers to run indexed searches for high search performance. Will I get comparable or better results if I only use unindexed searches for my business searches?

Running an unindexed search is excellent for getting a quick overview of your site. However, it won't bring you the same results as an indexed search. Indexed searches are more specific, so you'll get more results for the exact keyword you're searching for.
