Should I encourage virtual teams to document and share learning points?
Asked 3 years ago
Since the pandemic, my company has become primarily remote, and we have also started hiring individuals from different locations. With all these experts in their dispersed locations, it has become more important to me to create a knowledge-intensive work environment. The challenge is that each team and individuals within those teams barely share any of their knowledge, as their tasks mainly require execution at an individual level.

Teams must capture the experience of working together and sharing knowledge to learn from each other. It can be done through a variety of methods, including:
- Use an effective knowledge management system and document their learning points in a shared document (i.e., a wiki or Google Doc).
- Taking advantage of an internal tool to help team members track what they're learning as they go.
- Encouraging team members to share content (images, videos) related to the work on a centralized repository to help build productive teams.
