Is knowledge management the same as business intelligence?
Asked 3 years ago
Is knowledge management the same thing as business intelligence? I've heard these terms used interchangeably before, but I'm not sure if they refer to the same thing. Can someone explain if they are actually the same or not? Thanks!

Knowledge management and business intelligence are two distinct concepts. While both manage information, knowledge management focuses on organizing and sharing knowledge within an organization. It aims to create a culture of learning and collaboration.
Business intelligence, on the contrary, refers to leveraging data to gain insights and let them lead to informed decisions. It is primarily used for improving business performance.
