Here are two five-step methods to get your email back on track if Outlook doesn't show your recent emails when you conduct a search. Use the Outlook Index Repair Option Below are five steps to demonstrate how to rebuild your search index on MS Outlook 365: Head to File > Options, then select Search.Within the Search tab, select Indexing Options. This will display the number of items that have been indexed, etc. Within this dialogue box, click Advanced. You may need to login as an Administrator. Select the Rebuild button to initiate the repair process. Note that this may take quite some time. Once completed, you should get a notification that the repair process has been completed. You can then close the open dialogue boxes. Repair MS Office Installation A second method is to simply repair the installation of your Outlook Application. Although this may sound complicated, it's really quite a breeze. Here are five simple steps to follow: Make sure to close any Microsoft applications, including Outlook. From your Start button, select the Control Panel or Settings option.Once the dialogue box has opened, select Add or Remove Programs. This will display a list of all the installed programs on your device. We recommend sorting by name to find the one you're looking for quickly. Select the installation file for Outlook. This will pull up three options: Modify, Repair, and Change. Select Repair. Next, run through the initiated Installation Wizard dialogue box that pops up. Can You Retrieve Archived Boards in Trello? One of the best ways to access archived boards is searching by label in Trello. Simply add "is:archived" into the search and you will get a list of closed items. If searching doesn't work, you may want to consider troubling shooting for missing cards, lists, or boards. Another way of retrieving archived boards is navigating to the "boards" button on your Trello homepage and clicking on the "view all closed boards" option from the menu. Only board admins are able to open closed boards with the "re-open" option.

Searching by handwriting in Evernote is easier than flicking through a notebook when you need to find specific information fast, such as when you're in the middle of a brainstorming session and need to recall a whiteboard idea or if you're in a meeting and need to look something up. In short, Evernote's handwriting search feature comes in handy when your memory fails you. How Does Evernote Search Handwritten Notes? From important handwritten notes to class notes and ideas from brainstorming sessions, these can be "scanned" or captured through the in-app camera and saved to your account as a note. Once the note is synced to Evernote, it's uploaded to the servers for optical character recognition (OCR). This technology leverages machine learning and computer vision engines to recognize letter shapes and symbols and mimic how humans read handwriting. Any text identified inside a photo will only be assessed if it's in the following orientations: 0° (normal horizontal orientation), 90° (vertical orientation), or 270° (vertical orientation). Text that doesn't fit any of these orientations won't be read (including diagonal and inverted text). The servers then report everything they discover or "read" to you. OCR isn’t perfect, so it might read handwriting differently. For example, after reading a word, it might deduce that it's either "cat", "bat", or "3at". Writing legibly will help Evernote understand your handwriting. At the moment, Evernote can index in 11 different handwritten languages.
