What methods of verification does Google listing use?
Asked 3 years ago
I want to set up Google listing for my business. I want potential customers to be able to see my business address, phone number, business hours, and website when they search for my business. When setting up Google listing, what methods of verification will they ask for? My phone was stolen so I don't have a phone number. Will I be able to use my email address?

As soon as you set up your Google My Business (GMB) profile, you need to verify it in order to complete the process. Google allows you to verify your listing by postcard, email, SMS, or call, and Google Search Console.
So yeah! Even if you don't have access to a mobile phone, you can verify your GMB listings through other methods. Sign in to your Google My Business account to determine what verification methods are available for you.
