How do I clear a CDN cache in Amazon CloudFront?
Asked 4 years ago
I just recently got a hang of AWS Cloudfront to provide streamlined content and caching delivery network services for my website. However, I am having trouble with removing objects and clearing a cache. I read that it is essential to remove or clear cache before it expires, I just don’t know how to.

Clearing a CDN cache helps you remove a specific object from CloudFront. Follow these steps to clear a CDN cache in Amazon Cloudfront:
- Remove either some specific file, or discard multiple files from your CDN cache.
- Choose the specific directory and remove all content within it.
- Clear the cache, and remove all the objects you have stored within the CDN cache.
