What are the benefits of nested Figma components?

I'm trying to understand and work with all the tools Figma has to offer. My website has a lot of files and buttons that I am struggling to maintain now. I’ve been looking for a way to manage some of my other designs for the projects that I’ve been working on. I have heard about nested components, but I’m not sure what advantage they have. Can someone please elaborate?

Every website or application has tons of files and buttons, and a well-grown could be impossible to maintain. The endless connecting lines of files and tools can affect their working. So when playing with several components, big and small, you want to reduce their size as much as possible.
Figma offers a tremendous workflow with its "nested components" feature to help you in this regard. The nested components are components within components structured in a modular way. Consider it a parent-child plugin relation! Nested components divide the overall stress on a site or application. Therefore, they ensure a reliable and user-friendly experience.
