What is difference between Azure Classic and Resource Manager?

With Classic deployment, you manage your infrastructure using the Azure Management Portal. Conversely, resource manager deployment gives you more control and flexibility when managing your resources.

With Resource Manager, you can use templates to provision and deploy your resources. You can also take advantage of tags to organize your resources. In addition, the Resource Manager provides access to advanced features, such as role-based access control and locks.
