Here are the three steps to demonstrate how database migration services work:
- Create an Amazon Web Services (AWS) account and select the type of database you want to migrate.
- Choose your new database's instance size, storage type, and other settings.
- Once these details are configured, the migration service will transfer your data to the AWS cloud.
The process typically takes a few hours to complete. During this time, your database will be unresponsive.
