How do I delete resource groups from AWS Resource Groups?
Asked 4 years ago
I need to delete group-level tags for a specified AWS resource group. The challenge now is that I don’t know where to delete or which command to use to delete the resources for the tags I want to remove. What do I need to be able to remove a resource group?

To delete resource groups from AWS resource groups, you only need the AWS CLI or AWS Resource Groups Console. However, remember that when you delete a resource group, it will not delete the resources which are members of the tags or groups on the member resources. It will only target and delete the group structure and group-level designations, if any. To do this, sign in to the AWS Resource Groups Console and choose the group name you want to delete. Hit the "Delete" button on the group's detail page and click once more when asked for delete confirmation.
